Telephone Support
The Cancer Survivors' Network (CSN) has an extensive list of cancer survivors and caregivers who have been trained and are willing to lend their support through our one-on-one telephone support program. We try to match people of similar cancer diagnoses or situations. If we do not have a volunteer of a specific cancer type, we are happy to refer you to other organizations that have similar telephone support programs so you will find the most meaningful support available. If you are a survivor and would like to join us as a telephone support volunteer or if you would like to request a telephone support buddy, please let us know.

Patient Visitation Program - "The Living Room"
While "The Living Room" is a courtesy hospitality room on the 6th floor of the hospital, it is also a group of very special volunteers. If you are a patient receiving treatment at Saint Joseph's, we hope you will take advantage of "The Living Room" program. This program is made up of cancer survivors and caregivers who are specially-trained to visit with patients and their families in both the inpatient and outpatient areas of the hospital. These volunteers are there to listen to you, hear your concerns and offer hope, emotional support, and resources. If you are a family member of a patient at Saint Joseph's, we invite you to visit "The Living Room" (6th floor - next to the elevators), a room where you can go to relax, make a private telephone call, or hold a family conference.
